Introduction
Greenery: The Magazine for All Plant Life
Greenery is a magazine focussed on plant life: trees, shrubs, herbs, vines -- all types. It’s purpose is to bring awareness and appreciation to the most plentiful source of life on our planet.

Objective
Creating an attractive magazine system that catches the eye and is supported by a design program that scales with time.
The magazine’s style is minimal -- with a clearly established heirarchy: Title, logo, topics. The topic farthest to the left will always be a reflection of the hero image, owning first priority for reading, as the sections will be read left to right. All cover photography was taken by me, using a Canon AE-1 film camera, creating a desaturated nostalgic tone, while maintaining a high-fidelity film quality. The first year features the same polygon shape in each image, whereas in later years this can be removed, while still retaining the same heirarchy -- driving additional focus to the hero image.

Audience
Plant Enthusiasts: Urban and Elsewhere
The content of the magazines, as well as the photography, are entirely focussed on plant life -- blending nature in the raw with human-influenced cultivation. The topics are broad and appealing to anyone who loves plants. Farmers, botanists, urban gardeners, nature conservationists -- the audience is intentionally expansive, with a unifying admiration for plant life.
